【 Kotodama 】
Kotodama refers to the mysterious power believed to reside within words in ancient Japan, as well as the spirit that dwells within them.
Since words are said to contain a soul, it is sometimes written as “kotodama.”
The power of kotodama is said to be a powerful means of fulfilling wishes and attracting success.
The spiritual power of kotodama has been revered since ancient times and is recorded in Japan’s oldest texts, the Kojiki and the Man’yōshū.
[ Kotodama Amulet ]
By writing kotodama on paper and carrying it with you or looking at it, you can invite success into your life.
The front features an original illustration created by a carefully selected artist, while the back is stamped with the kotodama and the image of a deity.

It is believed that using paper derived from natural sources maximizes the amulet’s effectiveness.
At our shop, we use “cypress paper,” which greatly enhances the amulet’s power.
Cypress is also known as the “Tree of the Gods,” “Tree of the Sun,” and “Tree of Fire,” and is used in the construction of many Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples.
Since cypress paper is a natural product, the wood grain varies from sheet to sheet.
Due to the nature of the material, ink and red stamp pad may bleed slightly, but this does not affect the amulet’s effectiveness.
The business-card-sized hinoki paper is laminated.
